Mech arm guy-I like the idea of having a pair of mechanical arms, but they look too plain for me. Look up some technical pieces of machinery for reference (terminator and that bjork video comes to mind)and try to give the arms more character. Of course, too much and it becomes overwhelming. Something tells me that this guy could build himself a helicopter backpack. Also, as far as character goes, he doesn't seem to have any. Very plain and typical face and build. Think of the personality this inventor could have. Why did he build arms and not legs? Why the gloves? What made him become an inventor in the first place? etc etc ad nauseam Character silhouettes- I don't thin k you were there when we had all brought in an Indian character design and all of them looked exactly the same. For the project, we had decided to think about the sensibilities of the culture, rather than aesthetics. Landscape-I can't really say anything about this one, it's great.
I have to go to class now, but I'll get on the last four drawings when I get a chance.
